We understand “worship” to center on its oldest meaning: a time that reminds us of what is most important and worthwhile in our lives.

Whether you have been a member of a Unitarian Universalist congregation in another area, you’re coming from past experiences in another religious tradition, or you have no previous experience with spiritual community, it is important to consider why you should invest the time and energy into a place like our congregation.

I think there are many reasons why the Bellingham Unitarian Fellowship is life-giving.  Being a part of a community helps center us in our lives.  We get the chance to gain other perspectives, to receive support and connection.  It is a wonderful place to celebrate together and to struggle together through tough places. The sense of belonging in a community like the Bellingham Unitarian Fellowship reminds one that serving a greater good makes a huge difference in how we make our way through life.  I invite you to give it a try and see what difference it might make in your life.
