2008 BUF CAPITAL CAMPAIGN
(We are growing!)
Welcome to the Bellingham Unitarian Fellowship’s 2008-2009 Capital Campaign! Our membership is growing but the existing building is hampering our ability to handle the growth and expand our programs. Follow this link to our brochure for details on why we are expanding, our proposed building plans, and ways to give. Our dreams for new classrooms for our children, a fully accessible building, a social hall that is large enough for gatherings with good acoustics, and decent offices for our staff are now within our reach. It is probable that we will break ground in mid-2009. The existing house at 1207 Ellsworth Street will be removed. Our goal is to raise $1,000,000, and we are well on the way, with the Capital Campaign pledges received so far. You may still contribute! Click here to donate using Pay Pal; - or - Mail or bring a check made out to Bellingham Unitarian Fellowship with "building fund" in the memo line, to Bellingham Unitarian Fellowship

How often?
How often do we get to participate in something that clearly benefits a broad spectrum of the community, that ensures the potential of an open and meaningful place for faith and community to flourish? How often do we have the opportunity to utilize the true power of community working together to build a place that can help many people, for many years, realize their dreams? We have this time to pool our resources to ensure the future of community working to brighten the beacon of liberal faith and social change, and those moments are unique indeed. They require some special thought, attention and effort from us all, but the results bring about a lasting legacy testifying to the strength of community. |
