Broccoli Salad

Ingredients:
Salad
 |
Broccoli (medium sized-head) |
|
Red Seedless Grapes |
|
Raisins |
 |
3 stalks of Celery |
 |
1/2 of mediumn-sized Red onion |
 |
Hemplar's Bacon |
|
Sunflower nuts (salted) |
|
Dressing
|
1 cup salad dressing or mayonnaise
|
 |
1/2 cup sugar
|
|
2 tbsp. vinegar (or lemon juice) |
|
|
|
Directions:
Fry bacon well done and crumble.
Chop broccoli into bite-sized pieces
Cut grapes into quarters
Finely chop celery and onion
Dressing: In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, sugar, and vinegar/lemon juice. Pour over salad when ready to serve. Chill.
You can also add chopped apples or grated Havarti cheese or pecans or walnuts...lots of variations.
