Join RE Sources for another session of Green Drinks Bellingham every first Wednesday of the month from 5-7 pm to connect with other

organic networking session that started in London, England and has since caught fire around the world. Like-minded individuals in places
from Hong Kong to India, Sweden to South Africa meet every month to catch-up, network and talk about the latest green issues. According
to greendrinks.org, These events are very simple and unstructured, but many people have found employment, made friends, developed new
ideas, done deals and had moments of serendipity. The best part about Green Drinks is that there is no structure, just good people meeting

you may have about waste and recycling. We also hope to hear success stories from you that might help others in making waste reduction and

A Lummi Elder's Blueprint for Living
Pauline Hillaire, a renowned Lummi Elder, comes from the oral tradition. At 79 she says "I need to share all the knowledge I have…" She
has authored a couple of books, taught at numerous places including Northwest Indian College, and is a story teller, basket maker, historian,
philosopher, and interpreter of totem poles. Pauline sings, dances and writes poetry as well. And perhaps there is more! Her passion for what
is happening to our world is profound. She will speak about "A Blueprint for Living", based on the Lummi value system, something she is eager
to share. To her, nature and spirituality are one. "We are so grounded in nature" she says. "You can't take us from it!

On Saturday, September 27, we're launching a national mobilization to say, "I'm ready for the green economy." We are ready to tackle
the climate crisis by building a green economy strong enough to lift people out of poverty. Green Jobs Now is a National Day of Action
that will empower everyday people to stage hundreds of grassroots events throughout the country. We will have a special focus on low-income
communities, communities of color and indigenous people. This will send a message to our leaders that, when it comes to creating green jobs
for a more sustainable economy, PEOPLE ARE READY! Right now, there are millions of people ready to work and countless jobs to be done that
will strengthen our economy at home. There are thousands of buildings that need to be weatherized, solar panels to be installed, and wind
turbines to be erected. There are communities that need local and sustainable food and people ready to farm the crops. There are public
transit systems and smart electricity grids in need of engineers and electricians. Americans are ready to build the new economy. It's time
to invest in saving the planet and the people. It's time for green jobs now!
