BUF Social Justice Committee supports the
FAIR TRADE COFFEE PROJECT

Unitarian Universalists value the interdependent web of all existence, and acknowledge that the choices we make in our daily lives affect thousands of people internationally.

In our lives, our work and our congregation, we strive to make choices that help others and contribute to a better world. In this spirit, the Unitarian Univeralist Service Committee (UUSC) (website) has partnered with Equal Exchange Coop, (website) a company that buys its coffee directly from farmers following the standards and principles of fair trade. This ensures that low-income farmers earn a fair, living wage.
