Did You Miss the Mosaic Congregations Launch Event?
On May 2, the UUA invited us to a national virtual gathering celebrating the launch of Mosaic Congregations—a movement to cultivate antiracist, multicultural Unitarian Universalist communities grounded in justice, healing, and shared power. The virtual gathering introduced the Mosaic framework, offered spiritual and political grounding for the work ahead, and invited congregations into a deeper practice of Beloved Community.

By way of background, the UUA Commission on Institutional Change’s 2020 report Widening the Circle of Concern recommended that the UUA develop a certification program similar to the "Welcoming Congregation" or "Green Sanctuary" program, emphasizing a congregational commitment to lifespan learning in diversity, equity, and inclusion and anti-oppression—Mosaic Congregations is this program.
Stay tuned for further announcements about next steps in how BUF may engage with Mosaic Congregations!
