Film Screening - The Cheryl Hauser Effect: Saturday, April 18, 10:30-11:30am, BUF Sanctuary

This film shares the story of Cheryl Hauser, a Minnesota woman who, after being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, chose to face the end of her life on her own terms through VSED (Voluntarily Stopping Eating and Drinking). At seventy-six, Cheryl became a thoughtful and courageous voice for end-of-life autonomy, helping spark important conversations about Alzheimer’s, caregiving, and the right to make deeply personal medical decisions. During this one-hour gathering you will view selected scenes from the documentary, learn more about VSED and end-of-life options, and hear from those directly involved in the story & the work around end-of-life autonomy. Tickets: $5. Read more & RSVP
