Embodiology Open Sessions: Monday, July 13–Wednesday, July 15, 6:00-7:00pm | Social Hall
Dr. Ama Wray and the Embodiology team are bringing their dynamic program to the BUF community! Embodiology is a holistic combination of movement, music, cognition and sensory awareness originating from ancestral knowledge within the Anlo-Ewe culture in Ghana—it has been described as Ubuntu (“I Am because We Are”) in practice. They are generously offering three FREE Open Sessions to various BUFsters:
Monday, July 13 – Women (she/her, she/they) of all ages and abilities
Tuesday, July 14 - Children and intergenerational families of all abilities
Wednesday, July 15 – LGBTQI+ community of all abilities
Gardening Group Potluck: Sunday, July 19, 12:30pm | Patricia Conover’s home
The BUF Gardening group is continuing with a monthly gathering in BUFster gardens. Consisting of a brief tour, shared food, discussion of topics of interest to gardeners far and wide, and sharing ideas and experiences. Bring food to share. BUF at the Bells: Friday, July 31, 6:35pm | Joe Martin Field
BUF is planning an outing at the Bellingham Bells baseball game on Friday, July 31, 2026, at 6:35 pm. The Bells will be taking on the Victoria Harbourcats at Joe Martin Field on Lakeway Avenue, next to the Aquatic Center. All tickets are $18 apiece. We will be sitting in the middle Grandstand, fairly high up, to minimize sun exposure, but come prepared for possible sun exposure. Purchase your baseball tickets on July 12, July 19, or July 26 from Amy Van Pelt or Rod Haynes in the Narthex next to the Sanctuary at BUF. Limited supply. Plan early!
