Interfaith Peace Walk, Sunday, March 8th and April 5th, 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM, 2.5 Miles, Waypoint Park, Bellingham

Greetings,

I'm Rev. Seishin, with the local Zen Buddhist church Red Cedar Zen Community.

We've been hosting Interfaith Peace Walks around downtown Bellingham. Generally about 2.5 miles, though we're planning a long, 27 mile walk in April. Participation is open to everyone, regardless of faith affiliation or lack thereof. My hope is that regardless of our beliefs and backgrounds, we can all come together on the common ground that is the prayer that all people be free and live in safety. And in this case, we're taking those prayers on our feet as we walk.

Your community is warmly invited to participate as individuals or as a group. If you feel so inclined, please share this invite with any interested parties. Additionally, our aspiration for this to be interfaith is sincere. If you or a different faith leader would be interested in participating as a facilitator and offering your own words and prayers at our gathers, please let me know. We would be happy to have you. Please reach out if you have any questions
