On the home stretch for WA legislative activity!
February 25, 2026 is the policy committee cutoff date for this session.
Here are a few of the bills left that have public hearings between today and Wednesday. What happens next as these bills will then go to the Rules Committee of each chamber and they have until March 2, 2026 to pass out of their chamber's Fiscal Committees (House Appropriations and Senate Ways and Means).
To enter in a “Pro,” “Con” or “Other” Vote, take the following steps. We're recommending "Pro" on these bills.
Type in “leg.wa.gov” in the search bar of your browser.

This will take to you to that bill’s tracking page.
On the right-hand side, click on the “Sign up to testify / Submit written testimony” button.
*Note: if you want to submit provide some written comments, select the “I would like to submit written testimony” button instead. The steps will be similar.
Make sure that the bill number checked in the list on the page is the same as the bill number you are registering your position on.
Click on the “I would like my position noted for the legislative record” option.
Select the stance (Pro, Con, Other) from the “Position” drop down list.
Then, fill in your personal information. Note the fields that have astericks (*). These are required fields.
