Universalism’s Stubborn Existence

In November 2025, we devoted a Sunday service to our Unitarian root tradition; on March 22, we’ll turn our attention to our Universalist root tradition. Minister and UU history professor Rev. David Bumbaugh writes that “Universalism has maintained a stubborn existence throughout most of the history of the Christian church.” Today, we will take a look at that “stubborn existence” while exploring how it can inform our modern-day faith.
