Sunday Service - The Spiritual Practice of Social Justice

  • Bellingham Unitarian Fellowship 1207 Ellsworth Street Bellingham, WA, 98225 United States (map)

Rev. Sunny McMillan, worship leader, and Rev. Marsha Vollkommer, celebrant

Dating back to the beginning of our movement, Unitarian Universalism has been on the leading edge of activism and social justice. For many UUs, social justice is a form of spiritual practice—the outward manifestation, the fruit, that grows out of a faith tradition rooted in values like justice and equity. This Sunday, we will hear reflections from folks on a few of BUF's social justice Action Teams, as well as some of the people who have been meaningfully impacted by their work.
