Sunday Service - We Shall Be Known by the Company We Keep

  • Bellingham Unitarian Fellowship 1207 Ellsworth Street Bellingham, WA, 98225 United States (map)

Rev. Sunny McMillan, worship leader, Eleanor Burke, celebrant

The first few verses of the MaMuse song “We Shall Be Known” read: We shall be known by the company we keep, by the ones who circle round to tend these fires; we shall be known by the ones who sow and reap the seeds of change, a life from deep within the earth. Inspired by these words, and honoring the close of our congregational year, today’s service will be a celebration of the company we keep at BUF, as well as a reflection on the fires we have tended this year and the seeds we’ve sown—including a special performance of “We Shall Be Known” by a BUF ensemble.
