Clyde W. Ford Book Reading, Sunday, April 12th, 6:00 PM in the Sanctuary
Please join us on April 12th for this Whatcom County community event and fundraiser for charities working to resist I.C.E. Oppression.
Clyde W. Ford, local author and director of the Martin Luther King Jr. Library Publishers Project of HarperCollins, will read excerpts from his new book A High Price For Freedom: Raising Hidden Voices From The African American Past. After which Mr. Ford will answer questions. Following the reading, copies of the book will be on sale downstairs in the Social Hall where Mr. Ford will be happy to sign them.
A portion of the book sales and your donations will be distributed to local charities working to help resist I.C.E. oppression. Tickets are on a sliding scale up to $10 and are required for entry.
