Sunday SEJC Collection Applications for 2026-2027 Is Open
Greetings BUF Community,
The Social and Environmental Justice Committee (SEJC) invites organizations to apply to be recipients of the congregation’s Sunday SEJC collection during the next church year, starting in July.
We count on you—the congregation--to reach out to organizations and ask them to apply beginning March 16th (early applications will not be considered in order to give all a fair chance). So please invite organizations you care about and that meet our criteria.
We will keep the application open until 15 qualifying organizations apply, and then we will close the application for this year.

The congregation is invited to attend the selection meeting on the afternoon of May 19th, more details will follow.
Please read through the criteria for applicants (on this same page listed above) prior to inviting organizations to apply.

Consistent with our Covenant of Beloved Community
Preference for local organizations with small staffs—volunteer driven is great—or specific projects in larger organizations that are consistent with our criteria
